iCal Helper makes easier the transfer of calendar events and tasks from non-scripted, non-supported applications. iCal Helper can also serve as a front end for iCal with the ability to load information from IE windows, local files and web services to make Events and To Dos associated with them. iCalAid is formerly iCal Helper. The name was changed to avoid any possibility of conflict with the iCal Helper that is part of the iCal installation. Although the application name is changed, the download file name is the same so that links won't be broken.
What's new in this version:
- New command under file menu will reopen application window if it gets inadvertently closed.
- Services Menu added which now contains the commands that will obtain information about a web page or file to be associated with an event or task. Also included under Services are the following commands:
- Diary Entry - a note taking device which allows one to add entries to iCal calendars which are not necessarily events or tasks. any calendar can be selected.
