From iCode Systems :Originally designed as a security/surveillance application, this application can detect motion through a camera feed, captures the images, and posts them to a Web site, sends them to you via e-mail, or optionally sends you an SMS alert. i-Catcher can also operate in time-lapse or Webcam modes, and scheduled operating periods for particular times and days of the week can be defined. With its standard and user-configurable profiles, i-Catcher Sentry provides near limitless flexibility of operation. With i-Catcher, you can monitor as many as 255 cameras, remotely or on-site. You can schedule I-Catcher to capture video footage at set or recurring times and create user-configurable profiles for implementations that require multiple operators.
When used in conjunction with your home or office PC and a suitable camera, i-Catcher provides a powerful, practical and economic alternative to dedicated CCTV security systems. Constantly comparing live images from the connected camera, when motion is detected it automatically captures and saves the image to disk. Sensitivity controls and user-defined masks let you eliminate spurious motion detections. Playback lets you review activity detected on any given day in a matter of minutes. Sophisticated alerting functions can send captured images by e-mail, or upload them to a Web site for remote viewing. SMS message alerts can also be configured using an external application. Automated archiving of recorded images can be scheduled as can auto-deletion after a specified period, or when a pre-defined storage space limit is reached. i-Catcher can operate in time lapse or Web cam modes and scheduled operating periods for particular times and days of the week can be defined. Version 1.3 offers many new features including movement map, and AVI creation. For operating as many as 255 cameras see our i-Catcher Console solution.
