When you use eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 SP4 to build Microsoft Windows CE-based projects for the ARM processor, the ARM compiler may generate code that causes a Datatype Misalignment exception at run time. This problem occurs when the following conditions are true: You access memory by using a BYTE pointer. The BYTE pointer value is an odd number. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
