They force-installed Claro-search along with their software which has hijacked firefox and is now a pain in the ass to uninstall. I can only imagine what other shady things the developers put in the code of this program, but I'm not sticking with it to find out. The developers of eM Client SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED with sensitive information like email.
Summary
The developers of eM Client can not be trusted with sensitive information such as email. If you value a pretty interface over your privacy then by all means, this is the program for you!

"Great email client for Gmail users (and others as well)"

Pros
Complete contacts and calendar integration. Very easy to install and no special setup required if you are a Gmail user at least. Maybe not for others as well, but I have not set up those.
Cons
I actually have nothing negative to say so far.
Summary
I recommend this to anyone looking for a Gmail client.

Pros
Nice, neat, fast; aggregated "Global" folders is a great idea; conversation view in right-hand navbar also a great idea (much neater than in mailbox!).
Cons
Occasionally hangs - nothing serious, but doesn't load or display e-mails properly. Easily solved by exiting and relaunching. Really annoying extra software (including 'Protected Search' web browser setting and web browser toolbars) that are installed even if you explicitly tell the installation program NOT to install them.
Summary
Great product - unacceptable installation of extras.

Infected my browser against my deselection. Can't find addon, program or toolbar to remove this. Taking up time. So far, this program cost me too much. I'll uninstall it because trust is gone.
Summary
Not worth the crap they bundle in it. NOT friendly to find or uninstall crap that you opt out of at the beginning. Still trying to get rid of Protected search crap.

Nice interface, fast, integrated pretty well with GMail.
Cons
Messed up my web browsers completely. I told the installer that I did NOT want its toolbar, and it installed it anyway. I told it I didn't want to use their "Protected Search" search engine, and it changed it on me in all my browsers. It even "helpfully" changed my home page in all of them as well. It even went as far as reconfiguring Firefox's "awesome bar" to use their search engine!
I then logged into my Windows Guest Account for a visitor, and I was barraged by error messages about the Toolbar that I thought I had removed from IE.Summary
It is totally unsatisfactory to mess with my system like that. I removed all traces of eM Client and its browser toolbar.

Simple to use, very well designed, good for small business, too.Very stable, beautifully has all the options I was looking for in email client.
Cons
Nothing so far after 1 week of use. Simplicity is not necessary a minus. I love it.
Summary
This is a really well made program, other email clients should catch up before is to late. I predict it is going to be on top. No CNET review yet? 5 stars just for trying to lead by example.

"Fantastic email client"

Pros
I used Thunderbird for years but lately it began to slow down and show error messages that were impossible to fix. Searched tirelessly for a good email client that would merge all my various emails (gmail, hotmail, Yahoo) and this one does the trick and its fast!

Pros
There are times when I have to go offline and I've been trying to find something that will sync up with gmail and google calendar. This software does that, and it does it beautifully!
Cons
There are none for me.
