Publisher's description
From eBoostr :The eBoostr application allows you to use an additional drive (flash memory or hard disk) as another layer of performance-boosting cache. This is an alternative to ReadyBoost technology available for Windows XP users. With the newly developed eBoostr, the booting of your OS and applications startup get much faster thanks to the smart caching mechanism.

"Niced, but had issues using PCMCIA USB 2.0 Card"
Pros: Absolutely great idea that has been way overdue.
Cons: My only USB 2.0 ports are via a PCMCIA USB 2.0 card in my laptop. My USB flash drive meets the spec'd speed requirement, however the flash drive occasionally locks up my system when being used with eBoostr. I'm unsure if it's the flash drive or the card, but eBoostr doesn't seem fully functional in those conditions.

"Eboostr tech support is non-existant"
Pros: It appears to speed things up a bit when it is working.
Cons: 1. Tech support doesn't exist even for the purchased product. I've tried multiple times and haven't even gotten an auto response. ZIP so don't buy if you need help.
2. After purchasing I noticed that it dies if it is left running overnight. Only way to get it back working is to reboot.

Version: eBoostr 1.1 build 399
Pros: I found this to be one of the most useful apps I've found to improve performance. I can actually see a difference in the over all performance of my old P-4 2.8Ghz computer with two HD's and 2 Gigs of Ram.
I plan on putting the money out for it.
Cons: I wish the trial was longer so that I could really put it through some intense testing, but as it is the software has given me an idea of how it would work. I would just like to run it full time for a week or so before putting the money out for it.
