It was designed with security and simplicity of use in mind. It allows for easy creation of Internet services by converting stand-alone applications into network services. All of it can be achieved without necessity of additional software development. The built in compression mechanism and SSL support allow to send data quickly and securely over an insecure network. Automatically generated Web interface allows for easy access and management of SIMON services. Generated Web forms let user submit requests, receive responses and download data. Administrators can remotely create and modify services, manage users as well as control access rights.
Version 1.1.1 contains minor feature improvements and bug fixes.
