Publisher's description
From e2eSoft :VCam is a virtual software camera, which simulates a Web cam in your system and works just like a real one. You can use it to set images, animations, video clips, flash movies, DVD and even your desktop screen as the output of Web cam. Already have a Web cam? VCam can replace its background, perform face tracking, add video overlay, text overlay or cool special effects to it, and let it be able to be used by several applications at the same time.
Version 4.3 includes stream to playlist, auto-play on startup, close hardware acceleration when screen capture, added video decoders, and other bug fixes and minor modifications.

Version: e2eSoft VCam 4.3.2.0
Pros: see below; virus included in download pack
Cons: Trojan.Agent found by IObit Security 360 on Sept 14 2009 from download off CNET on August 31st; (c:\program files\e2esoft\vcam\styles\vista.cjstyles) Quarantined, but as uninstall requires Run As Admin in Vista, still worried what virus remains
Summary: Found virus via deep scan by IObit Security 360 before using, so can not comment on software other than that.
