From Steve's Software:

View and edit Hotline? UserData files on the command line (Terminal.app). Change all aspects including nickname, login, password, and privilege information. At present, accountedit only recognizes hotline version 1.2.3 or hxd account privileges and the broadcast privilege. The source code is included.

What's new in this version:

  • Minor bug fix. accountedit was writing one less byte then needed at the end of the file which caused problems if the server checked the file size or for passwords that are 32 characters.
  • Included a small app, for use in scripts, to create generic accounts with a few privileges.
