a-squared (a2) is a complementary product to antivirus software, which is specialized in protection against harmful software. Antivirus software often features an inadequate protection against Trojans, Dialers, Worms and Spyware. a-squared fills this gap.It comes with a very easy to use user interface for the scanner and background guard. The scanner does a memory scan at the begin of each scan. Then, all files on your harddisks (or specific folders) are scanned with the high performance scan engine.The background guard is running as a little icon in the system tray (beside the clock in the taskbar) and blocks Malware immediately if it is run. So it is nearly impossible for Malware to infect your PC.Currently more than 25,000 different types of Malware can be detected and removed. Free online updates provides best protection.
