Along with its effective and easy-to-use firewall and additional security features, this new version of ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite revamps the mostly solid antispyware protection introduced in the last release.
ZoneAlarm's wizard makes firewall configuration and maintanence incredibly easy, with a stylish interface and simple slider controls. The app boasts an ultrasecure triple-layer firewall and experts will appreciate the customizing options. The Zones feature allows you to assign different security levels for local networks and the Internet. The program was very good at automatically including our local network settings and auto-detected wireless machines. In all our tests, the firewall held strong against all threats it encountered.
The suite also includes an antivirus scanner, a cookie cleaner, ad and pop-up blockers and new antispwyare tools. Happily, the app offers both real-time protection against malware as well as a scanning engine. In our tests, spyware scans were blisteringly fast and almost always accurate, though some minor traces were left behind. The real-time module could have offered more information from directly within the program on potential threats.
Other features include Web site-specific protections, an ID Lock for personal information and a configurable site-blocking content filter. Security Suite also incorporates the company's IMSecurity program, which protects instant-messaging programs from spam and encrypts messages (so long as the person on the other end also is using IMSecurity). Users looking for one solution to almost all their Internet-security concerns can turn to ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite.

Pros: I REALLY love ZoneAlarm Security Suite because the price is reasonable, the spyware, antivirus scanner and remover works very well, and the firewall is excellent! It has many options for better security, the interface is categorized for easier understanding, and it really does work well.
Cons: I love the product, but not the memory usage. This program is VERY close to being the best if only it didn't use the amount of resources as it did (about 3 processes depending on what you have, and two processes using more than 30MB RAM) I only have 512MB RAM. I downloaded it again since it said "helps PC run smoothly", so I assumed they talked about lowering the RAM usage, however it was just as worse for me.

"This is the best "Zone Alarm Suite" I've ever used."
Pros: Great protection from viruses spyware and hackers. The firewall is strong and configurable. The anti-spy scan is fast. The anti-virus engine is this version is "Kaspersky" but much faster (great partnership). The updates are often without any hangups. It loads fast and I fount no hogging of computer resources. In fact, it uses 110 MB of ram less them "Zone Alarm Pro" and "Antivir Premium" together. It even has skins in preferences, general. i love this package and am happy to have it.
Cons: So far, none.

"5 STARS +++++ THIS IS THE BEST."
Pros: After the initial easy set up.Zone alarm covers all your needs for protection.Firewall,antivirus,antispam,parenatal control,instant message control (IM),Antispyware and identity protection.I have tried them all,Trend Micro,BitDefender, Kaspersky etc etc.This software stands out by a mile.It does not slow your system down one bit.Very easy to navigate around.
The antivirus scan is quite quick, around 30 minutes.The antispyware scan around 10 minutes.It catches viruses in an instant.
My pc,runs like a dream and would not use anything else.
40 dollars (20 uk pounds) is very cheap to cover all your needs for total security.

Pros: I have been using this security suite for almost 1 month and Ive seen very good results. Its low on resources, the firewall is the BEST!! And now zone alarm security suite antivirus use Kaspersky engine, so finally you can use the best firewall in the market whith one of the top antivirus like kaspersky. The antispyware works good and catch all threats. What elese can you ask for?? It has alot of other security functions that can be very usefull like Parental Control, antispam, Privicy protector and more.
Cons: Antivirus scan takes too long

"Great, if you like 5 minute boot-ups!!"
Pros: I am still trying to think about what is good about this heavy resource software. Nothing so far.
Cons: Boot up time dropped from approx 20 sec to over 4-5 minutes. The hard drive seems to be constantly working when I surf the web. Web pages take some time to open up fully. When I go to map websites, some work and some do not work with this software. I end up having to turn the ZASS off, in order to make the map functions work correctly...this is even after attempting to modify portions of ZASS to allow the map website to work. Ended up removing this software of ZASS after 2 weeks. ESET Smart Security was heaven compared to this one.
