  "UNBETABLE THE BEST FIREWALL+ANTIVIRUS AREOUND"

  Pros: This has the best firewall according to cnn and many other articles, the antivirus is not the best in the world but it is better than Norton.

  It is very affective and very useful, it give you total control of what you do with the firewall and other cookie blockers.

  Other software just asks you firewall on or off, but this has several different modes which you can set and block what you don?t want.

  It blocks cookie(5star), ads(4star), hackers(5star) blocks email viruses has privacy so you can hide yourself on the web and you files has id lock to protect your data and im security to check messengers for virus attempts web filtering(parental control) and loads more.

  This is worth every penny that you will send on this, they do regular updates and have a very friendly support team.

  When the firewall blocks a hacker you can use the firewall to track the hacker(it will give you name, email ,IP address, location) it that cool or what you can email your hacker and say what you think about him.

  Since May 2005 the firewall blocked 56750 and 800 hackers which were trying to view my personal files.

  Great cookie blocker and ad blocker.

  What are you waiting for this is what you need!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  Pros: This is the best security suite I have used.

  Cons: No antivirus quarantine (although most viruses are removed) ad-blocking features are not good, and for whatever reason MSN Messenger 7.0 does not seem to sign in.

  "Great Program.. But with problems"

  Pros: Let me start by saying that I am a zone alarm fan, I think it is one of the best Firewalls around (I used to have Sygate, but that was too long ago).

  I would like to tackle some points made in the previous comments since I think that would be the best way to go about this review.

  1- Program slows Computer or connection:

  The only slowing down I have noticed is in the starting up of the computer otherwise I have noticed any lagging on my 2.8GHZ laptop with 512 RAM. Now slowing down of the network (web access) seemed to me to be very minimal (I use a satellite connection) and with the ZA off I get no much better results than with it on.

  the possible reason behind these two problems that were mensioned earlier is that WINDOWS XP firewall was not disabled. I realy do not want to go on with what is good about this program since it is amazing in all regards for the exception of the points I will mension in the CONS section.

  CONS:

  again from other reviewers:

  1- ZA sometimes does not recognize the same program that you already have given permission to, and ask for permission many times. (there is a possibility that the program is changing because of some update or so, it might be the safest way to go about it, but this is a bit irritating)

  2- Asking you to allow that network and name me many different time is the same as point (1)

  3- The antivirus is bad: YES IT IS. I did a trial myself: I scanned my computer with Norton, found 3 viruses, recorded their locations and then left them alone, turned Norton off, Turned ZA virus on, Update the Virus definition for ZA viruses, Scanned my computer nothing, Scanned the specific folders that I recorded earlier, Nothing again. I RECOMMEND that you disable the ZA virus protection and Use other Virus protection.

  Cons: 4- AUTOMATIC LOCK: This was my favorite on the older ZA, on this one there are problems, mainly is does not unlock. The way this works, is for example you set ZA that after 29 minutes of inactivity Zone alarm will lock the internet (meaning nothing in and nothing out). That works fine, but when you start using your computer ZA does not unlock your network, you have to do it manually.

  5- THIS IS WHY I GIVE THIS PRODUCT 3 STARS ONLY:

  I have installed this ZA software on 3 computers so far, and 2 of the computers (with less RAM [265]) had the following problem: ZA becomes unstable when the computer sleeps (or hibernates) it locks the internet even though internet lock is not enabled in the options, the lock symbol does not even appear on the ZA symbol (as it would when it locks the network), so you have to shutdown the ZA firewall, then it might shutdown and you are fine but with no firewall or it will not shutdown and crash, then you will have to force quit it, and then restart your computer for the network to be available again. This is very frustrating, and in my experience only happens when the computer hibernates (as that causes problems in other programs as well) but I did not have any of these symptoms myself on my computer, but did walk the other 2 people through getting their computer online again when that happened.

  In summery: if you have a 512 or more RAM with a 2.8 GHZ or more processor, you should give this program a try, as long as you have an alternative to its virus protection. This program is full of features yet one serious problem (# 5 in the CONS), so if you are technically all right in regards to computers, and likes to tinker, then it is worth a try, but I would NOT recommend it to a person who does not know much about computers and wants a trouble free security system.

  "One of the best security suites around."

  Pros: Very good overall security suite. Better antispam than most(it is MailFrontier so has to be good.). Firewall is also the best around. Very nice interface, same as zonelarm firewall. Email protection is also good. To sum up, if u are buying a security suite, i would recommend to buy this. i have used pc-cillin internet security 2005 and norton internet security 2004 but they weren't as good.Norton sucks. Pc-cillin just has a better antivirus than zonealarm. zonealarm beats it in all other departments.I saw people writing that it crashed their machines, but no such problems for me. It is a very stable program.Also comsumes lesser resources than most. a lot less than norton, but a little more than pc-cillin.

  Cons: The antivirus is a little bit of a concern. it is not just as good. it will make you switch to pc-cillin as it has the best antivirus. if you have the money, switch off the zonealarm antivirus and buy any good antivirus program. it will be the best combination(both antivirus together will be unstable.)

  "Not worth it"

  Pros: It didnt really do anything for my PC.

  Cons: It slowed my PC down alot while surfing the web. I have over 700k DSL and it was running like dial up with this program running.
