Along with its effective and easy-to-use firewall and additional security features, this new version of ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite brings mostly solid antispyware protection to the table. ZoneAlarm's wizard makes configuring a firewall incredibly easy. The application's stylish interface and simple slider controls make maintaining and updating settings a snap. The app now boasts an ultrasecure triple-layer firewall, which safeguards your machine's OS and Registry. Experts will appreciate options that let them set up custom rules. The program's Zones feature also allows you to assign different security levels for local networks and the Internet. We found ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite to be very good at recognizing and automatically including settings for our local network, and it also can automatically detect wireless machines. In all our tests, the firewall guarded against all external and internal threats it encountered.

Beyond the firewall function, ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite includes an antivirus scanner based on Computer Associates' Vet Anti-Virus. You also get a cookie cleaner, an ad blocker, a pop-up stopper, and new antispwyare tools. Happily, the app offers both real-time protection against malware as well as a scanning engine. In our tests, spyware scans were blisteringly fast and almost always accurate, though ZoneAlarm Pro did leave a few minor traces that some dedicated utilities removed. The real-time module also fared pretty well, but we wish it offered more information on potential threats from directly within the program. Elsewhere, we like the privacy-protection features, which let you apply settings individually to different Web sites. The ID Lock feature stores personal information, such as social security and credit card numbers. Internet Security Suite is the only version of ZoneAlarm to incorporate a basic filter that blocks sites according to various types of content; you can configure it to block various types of naughtiness or just one category, such as racist material. Security Suite also incorporates the company's IMSecurity program, which protects instant-messenging programs from spam and encrypts messages (so long as the person on the other end also is using IMSecurity). Users looking for one solution to almost all their Internet-security concerns can turn to ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite.

  "The Greatest package available."

  Pros: The absolute best suite available today....period. Start with the best Firewall around,add the best anti-virus program provided by CA(Computer Associates)

  and a much improved Anti-Spyware scanner/ remover, and you have the total package!!!!

  This suite also includes identitiy theft protection,a new game mode so you can play games while keeping from being bombarded with pop-up warnings and still protect your PC, Spy Site blocking and the cherry on the top...the triple layer firewall protection that ZoneAlarm has,to keep your security and peace of mind.

  Plus even more features, too many to mention make this Suite the best bang for your buck!!!!

  P.S. I used to have compatibility issues before,when I used ZoneAlarm free edition along with either AVG or AVAST anti-virus.

  Since this is the full Suite which included ANTI-VIRUS and ANTI-SPYWARE...I now only use this suite and have elininated all my compatibility issues,which makes me safer,happier and I stopped having to take Prozac.... ha...ha

  Cons: Kinda pricey but there are others more expensive that don't do as good a job.

  Reputation and ease of use makes up for the cost.

  "good one"

  Pros: In this security suite, ZoneAlarm firewall is leaps and bounds ahead of its contemporary firewalls. This gives you a rocksolid protection on different ports. This can be verified by various internet security assessment portals except Symantec, which does not even verifies its own Norton Firewall. It is stable and one can not fool the same by the trojans. Users complaining about the unwanted and repeated security warnings should try devoting some time in configuring the program. In my personal opinion, all the security warnings are designed for your own good.

  "Works Extremely Well"

  Pros: The interface is clean and easy to understand. The spyware scanner detects spyware that is not detected in Ad-Aware. The ID protection works on all sites that are not AES 128 or 256 bit encrypted as well as emails and text based documents. This is so helpful especially with those miscellaneous emails that seem like the real deal but is not. You can also set up a password for the suite so none of your settings can be modified.

  "nice and easy"

  Pros: Simply the best Firewall in the net just because no other firewall has matched their performance.Very easy to adapt,understand and use.It suits everybody's need from novice to Expert users.

  Certainly a must try software, will give you piece of mind atleast till you switch over to any other trusted firewall software.

  Does exactly what a firewall has to do,nothing less nothing extra. Non-annoying feature is a very good thing with this firewall, i.e If U think something is safer and should be allowed to access the net U can set it in zone alarm trust software always option, and it will not ask you any more question.

  A lot better than most of its competitors like quick heal. Only firewall that can come close is pc-cillin, having tried all the three firewall I would say Zone Alarm stand out way ahead.

  A must try software in firewall however not as a package like firewall+antivirus+antispyware.

  If U wanna buy something as a package try Norton rather, otherwise Zone alarm is the best

  Cons: Antivirus & Anti-spyware needs a lots of research, cannot be purchased as a package, they lag behind Norton & Panda groups.

  "A Credit Long Overdue..."

  Pros: ZoneAlarm is the best suite available in the market with the best firewall,a good anti-virus and anti-spyware..

  the anti-spam from mailfrontier is one of the best in the market...

  We are often attracted to big names like norton,mcafee,kaspersky etc etc...

  But i have used each of these suites and i am of the conclusion that ZA is rightfully the choice of everyone...

  And above all a very easy to use security suite,very light on system resources and no frills!

  Cons: The only problem which hampers ZA is sometimes the bugs associated with it,but they are not universal and happen for some pc's...
