It offers some niceties not found in the Windows compression tool, but Zipghost lacks any features that make it stand out in a category rich with options. The program's straightforward interface consists of large icons, a file menu, and viewing pane to see archived files or the files ready to be archived. It's fairly easy to understand, but the Help file only has information on buying or upgrading the program. We wish more attention had been paid to helping new users.
The best thing the program adds is context menu integration. Several options for zipping files, including instantly archiving selected files in individual archives, adding them to an existing archive, and archiving then emailing the file are just a click away. You'll usually have the option of performing an action instantly or opening a tabbed interface to choose the compression level, add a password, or set the archive file path. Zipghost's speed was really impressive -- even with a large batch of files it created archives almost instantly.
A context menu option to instantly zip an entire folder would have been a nice addition. You'll have the standard 30-days to give Zipghost a test run, but we suggest you also try a few other file compression tools for comparison.

"This Software is well above the norm, Works just as stated, A fine job."
Pros: I like a software that works with out two weeks of study, This one is by far a better one, will do just as stated and fast work of a big job.
Cons: NOTA!.
