Zero Trace supports more than 60 plug-ins (third-party software) and includes a shredder to make sure no file is recovered. Zero Trace also allows you to save certain cookies and has a built-in update feature that will automatically download new plug-ins and check for new versions. Also Zero Trace is skinnable so the user can pick the interface that best suits them.
Version 1.4 is now skinnable, and the core code has been updated for stability.

Version: Zero Trace 1.4
"Very good program, but would like to evaluate longer"
Pros: It does everything as advertised & didn't cause a single problem on my computer, which runs XP-MCE2004. This is one I'm considering actually shelling the cash out for (which I've never done for a privacy app). I really liked the fact that I could leave some of the info on my computer (like certain cookies that keep me from having to log into certain benign sites over & over), but removed other info.
Cons: 10 days was a bit short for evaluation

Version: Zero Trace 1.4
Pros: This is the first piece of software that I've ever bought after a trial download. Since I my credit card # was stolen I've been looking for a security solution. Finally, I found Zero Trace which suites my needs perfectly. It?s easy to use, but at the same time powerful enough to adapt to your individual needs (like when I switched to mozilla). Anyone who buys on Amazon or uses online banking needs Zero Trace.

"Uninstaller attempts to change IE privacy settings and install adware"
Pros: Seemed to clean thoroughly, although the interface doesn't show you what is being deleted, unlike competitors. I wouldn't trust the developers of this program.
Cons: The uninstaller attempts to install adware/spyware and change IE privacy/security settings.

"Very well laid out & easy to use product, but..."
Pros: Easy to use, concise, clear. Great for the novice user. Cleans anything you could ask for.
Cons: No auto options. Needs the ability to remove tracks at specified time-based intervals, on events (like closing browser windows), and windows start up or shut down.

"Installed it, clicked on it, program never opened, even tried reinstalling it."
Pros: uh, it didn't crash my computer??? Since it won't open, what else can I say??
Cons: Zero Trace is a good name for this program... there is zero trace of it existing as a program. So since it didn't open, it didn't clean anything very well.
