Version: Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery 1.2
Pros: I accidently deleted about 20 photos on a 1-gig memory card. The recovery process took a while b/c of the large card size, but, except for the photos that were corrupted when I overwrote them, my photos were restored.
Cons: Time involved with a large size memory card, but worth the effort.

Version: Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery 1.2
Pros: After i try to recover my pictures from SD card with many programs i discover this recovery program. From my 1GB SD card with 540 pictures , 480 recovered.
Cons: The recovery rate is >90%. That is great but not perfect. some imporatnt pictures may still missing.

"It recovered all pictures from a scrambled XD card."
Pros: A 1Gb XD card was moved from the camera to an electronic picture frame. The frame controls were used to rotate some of the pictures. When we tried to download the pictures to a computer, it showed 4 each of the first 200, but none of the last group that hadn't been backed up. ZADIR was able to recover all 323 pictures, including the 87 new ones. It's a free program that does what it says it will. The simple, clean interface works well. It took about an hour for the recovery, which I consider a small inconvenience.

"Shotty Software Equals Shotty Recoveries"
Cons: This thing was no better than searching my entire hard drive for hours to find something but nothing.
