From Siahe :Zekr is an open platform for research on the Holy Quran. It is a Quran based project, planned to be a universal, open source, cross-platform application to perform most of the usual refers to Quran. The main idea is to build an as generic as possible platform to be capable of having different add-ins for its tasks.
Version 0.6 features: advanced search using Lucene full-text search library (Boolean operators, groups, wild cards, scopes, fuzzy search), Uthman Taha theme, HTML export for bookmark sets, Basic command line support.

Version: Zekr 0.6
"A good attempt on creating such a software"
Pros: This actually does give you the comfort to research on the Holy Quran. It gives you the flexibility for customizations which is the best part for e.g. you can choose your own language or tranlations. I like the way it appears with the translations.
Cons: There is though a lot of room for improvement. For e.g. the name of the suras are not in english. There is just one layout which is not always comfortable for research. I am sure if they work a little hard on it they can make a much better software and this is just the beginning. I hope I were a part of the development team.
