We really wanted to love this browser, but it just didn't give us the chance. Zabidoo would tease us with its cool features, then abruptly shut down without warning.
The colorful, busy interface might intimidate novice users at first, but there's a startup tour that really pulls everything together. If you're a new user, you'll have to register by entering some personal information. This includes demographic info because the browser is supposed to customize the links provided based on your entries. The browser window is a colorful display of classifications that break down into categories displayed in a tree menu. Though it gave us the option to delete the categories, we were never able to do so. We were, however, able to add our own URLs to each category without any problems.
Unfortunately, just as we were starting to enjoy this program's features, it shut down on us and continued doing so each time we opened a browser window. When the kinks are worked out, Zabidoo will be a great browser. Until then, stick with what you've got or try less buggy alternatives.
