  Version: ZWCAD 2008i

  "zwcad is a poor cosmetic product"

  Pros: that it is affrodable and autocad-compliant and therefore easy for people that are trained in their scools to use autocad.

  Cons: the software is full of bugs and works extremely flaw-full.

  If you open dwg files produced by genuine autocad, it often cannot save them anymore.

  The commands are often not working well.

  Generally speaking, the programm COULD be good, but is just a kind of beta software, with so many bugs that you really get angry after working an hour on it!

  It could be useful for people just "trying" to draw, for beginners, etc.

  For professionals, it seems much too buggy.

  I wait for later (hopefully better) releases!

  "Good for those familiar with AutoCad."

  Pros: This looks and feels like AutoCad.

  Cons: Like Autocad, you have to know what you are doing. It would be nice if it were a little more idiot proof.

  Version: ZWCAD 2008i

  "For the most part I like this SW"

  Pros: Seems to have all the popular features of similar SW

  Cons: Cannot save a small file. Is this a restriction for the trial copy? The price to buy is no where to be found, and no button to execute a purchase. Am I missing something?

  "not so bad"

  Pros: Oh yes it is really a little slowly than autocad, sometims I have to wait for severral minutes for a dialog to open. But it can open and save the dwg files created by autocad and mail to my customers and the way to draw is familiar too. Besides, it is much cheaper, a lot of money has been saved,haha ...

  "In 2D Drawing ZWCAD is a great way to use"

  Pros: In 2D Drawing ZWCAD is a great way to use

  Though its 3D technology still has a long way to go, I think this is a good software, one of the best quality/price. Its speed, compatibility and stability work well to me.

  Cons: Its APIs are not advanced enough. And its 3D design is still in the fundamental level.
