This single-function utility lets you modify the attributes of files in a folder with just a few clicks.
ZALAttributes has a small, nonresizable window that is relatively easy to use, even though the help file is missing in action. The program lets you choose the attributes of folders and files, including archive, read-only, hidden, and system files. You can initiate the process in two ways--by choosing additional ZALAttributes options integrated by the program in your context menu, or simply by running the utility from your desktop or program files.
We had no complaints about the app's speed or effectiveness in our tests. Users looking for a convenient and efficient way to quickly change the attributes of files within a folder--including subfolders -- are sure to find this freeware handy.

From Hamid Reza Bahador :ZALAttributes sets attributes for chosen directory and all its files and subdirectories. It is useful when copying folders from CD-ROM. After installation you can right click a drive or directory and chose ZALAttributes or run the program from its program group. Version 1.9 includes unspecified updates.
