Building DHTML menus and Java-based maps for your Web site just got easier. Xtreeme SiteXpert Standard Edition launches with a dialog box that guides you through the whole creation process. The Layout wizard scans the site you enter and assembles the links. The wizard lets you map the full site structure, create navigation, and customize the code. If the wizard falls short, you can consult the basic tutorial that explains how the program works. You can easily insert and update the menus on your site with includes. The application supports DreamWeaver, FrontPage, and NetObjects Fusion plug-ins. This version differs from the Professional Edition by leaving out the search engine, automatic site updating, a hierarchical diagram, and XML features, but its cross-browser-compatible output still shines. Though it leaves out some of the high-end conveniences of its cousin, Xtreeme SiteXpert Standard Edition helps amateur Webmasters create impressive dynamic menus.Publisher's description
From Xtreeme :Xtreeme SiteXpert Standard Edition is a cross-browser builder for Web-site navigation. It can create a JavaScript / DHTML menu, DHTML site-map tree, Google sitemap / ROR, a portal interface, or a Java tree applet for your Web site. It automatically builds the structure by crawling your Web site or by reading the directory structure. Inclusion of menus on existing Web pages is automated with the use of includes (PHP, ASP, ColdFusion, SSI). Output is XHTML-compliant and works with all browsers (IE, Netscape, Opera, Mozilla) on Mac, Unix, and Windows. With a single license, you can create as many outputs for as many Web sites as you wish.
Version 9.0.1 includes a new version of DHTML Menu Studio, Google sitemap / ROR generation, indexing of Flash sites, extraction of titles from a wide range of document types.

Version: Xtreeme SiteXpert Standard Edition 9.0.1
"Serious bug, do not recommend this software"
Pros: I did not try everything. I noticed that it has a tool to build a search engine for your site. At least it has cool features... even if they don't work.
Cons: It looks like they allowed the user to try more things since these other reviews were posted. Nevertheless, the software has major bugs that need to be worked out. It is a waste of time to download this software. It has potential, but they need to get rid of all the bugs first because I was not even able to finish a process... and I tried going about it 3 different ways.

Version: Xtreeme SiteXpert Standard Edition 9.0.1
"Did exactly what I wanted it to do"
Pros: Creates quick, easy to understand sitemaps.
Cons: Took a time or two to figure out the nuances to get a map that would work. Creating site maps by navigation method is fairly worthless, but creating them by directory structure is flawless.
