From Xingtone :This simple to use software takes away the bing - bong - bing of boring ringtones and replaces them with real music. Your phone will play real music when your friends call, and you will save lots of money, no dollar per ringtone charges. Once installed on your computer this application takes any .MP3 or .WAV file already on your hard drive and allows you to edit a clip of the file and converts it to a ringtone and then sends it to your Sprint PCS mobile phone. This is a version of the actual audio file that you have selected. A simple push of an upload button starts a process to notify your mobile phone that this new ringtone is ready. A text message is sent to your mobile phone to begin the upload directly from your computer to your mobile phone. You must have Sprint PCS mobile service with the correct mobile phone.
