Publisher's Description
From Xfire:
Xfire is a tool that automatically keeps track of when and where gamers are playing PC games online and lets their friends join them easily. It works regardless of game type, server browser, or gaming service that a player is using. Xfire eliminates the hassles of running multiple programs like IRC, instant messengers, or in-game friend's lists to keep track of when and where a gamer's friend are playing. Instant messaging is geared for gamers, so IM windows do not pop-up while you are playing a game and Xfire can show instant messages within the actual game interface for many games that it supports. It supports the best and the latest online PC games including over 200 server- and non-server-based First Person Shooters, Real Time Strategy, and Role Playing Games.
What's new in this version: Version 1.149 has fixed an issue where video uploads would fail with the "413 Request Entity Too Large" error and improved frame rate on broadcasts for viewers.

"great for star wars battlefront 2 (pc)"
Version: Xfire 1.140
Pros
good to find game servers on star wars battlefront 2 (pc)
Cons
sadly people rarely use it, instead people prefer gamespy arcade.
Summary
i have only tried this with star wars battlefront 2 (pc), its good but i dont use it very much.
my advice to you would be to get gamespy arcade as it is much easier to use and is easier to find game servers for your game online.
please like my review if you find it helpful. :) -

"XFIRE=WIN. Pwning noobs is better with documentation."
Version: Xfire 1.138
Pros
Game Launcher, Server tracker, FPS overlay, In game chatting, video, streaming, screenshots, browsing, updates and in game stalking. Also, Battlefield 3 is on the cusp of arrival. Don't you want to be ready.
Cons
In a rare moment that you aren't owning or your "little brother" is playing on your rig and padding the other teams KD ratio.... your fair game to ss videos and eternal damnation.
Summary
Xfire has so much more to offer than these features. A few more cool things are worth mentioning: Community Support such as clans, and portals and calendars for events. They offer gamers a personal blog and portal for everything gaming. Game updates, patches and file management also comes with their services. OH and yes, they also sell games, give away LOTS of beta keys and have special events with developers, industry experts and offer discussion panels. Oh and did I mention the FREE SWAG they give out. Xfire offers all of this and more, and best of all it's free. One last thing, in my opinion there is no gaming service that offers this much with such ease of use and little toll on your PC or FPS for in-game use.
