From Xerver :Xerver Free Web Server is a tiny fast web server allowing you to run CGI scripts on your computer. Xerver also includes an FTP server. Xerver is GNU GPL open source software and contains many advanced features. A brief feature list: Run scripts (Perl, PHP etc.), create aliases (virtual directories), allow/deny directory listing, create your own error pages ("404 Not Found"), allow/deny CGI-scripts, password protected folders, choose your own index file extensions, share/unshare hidden files or files with certain file extensions, share unlimited folders etc. Xerver is a tiny, fast and free Web server, but is still advanced and supports HTTP/0.9, HTTP/1.0, HTTP/1.1 and all HTTP methods (GET, POST and HEAD).
Version 4.20 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
What's new in this version:
- A brand new FTP Server (also GNU GPL) is now included in the Xerver package.
- Many minor improvements, including changes to the CGI environment.
- Code optimization - Lower memory usage and better server performance.

Version: Xerver Free Web Server 4.20
"It is very easy to use, and has many features"
Pros: It is very easy to use: default settings are enough so you can start use it directly after it is installed. It is very fast: my Perl scripts and PHP scripts runs well. I could install MySQL and that worked good without hassle. I tried an other server too, but I couldn't get that one to use MySQL but now it works with this webserver. The help files tells you exactly what issues can arise if you have a router and how you can solve the issues. Basically a great open source software.
Cons: Nothing I can think of right now.

Pros: not much. got the basics.. but didnt excite me that much. get xp pro with iis. betr..
Cons: u just install and its there. duzn seem to be wrking with me. trust me, dont download this, ull be betr off with something else. it is better to download popular programs because u can find more help on them and more ppl talking about them.

"Awsome server software if your running XP Home"
Pros: This is the best software for XP Home users that want HTTP and FTP Server.
Cons: Takes a while to set up, but its worth it.

"It is fast and reliable! Have real and easy CGI & PHP script supporting!"
Pros: 1.Fast - Small package for easy download, its intergrated wizard make installation easily.
2.Script supporting - Easy and preset PHP and CGI script supporting make people easy to use.
Cons: 1.Graphic - Not very nice graphic.

Pros: Easy to setup and use. Good logging feature. Only one conflict, which was easy to correct. Very much recommended.
