From X1 Technologies :X1 locates and previews e-mail, e-mail attachments, and files on your hard drive as fast as you can type. For Web searches, X1 brings back not only search results, but also the pages associated with those results. It then saves a copy of every Web page it displays and lets you create a list of favorite sites, all available and instantly searchable on- or off-line. X1 lets you search for files, e-mail and e-mail attachments by content, as well as by filename, subject, sender, recipient, size, date, and other criteria. X1 supports full-word and prefix searches. You can also exclude words. Results can be sorted by size, date, name, type, and so on. Results are displayed on the left, and as each result is selected, its contents are displayed on the right. Then a double-click on a file or an Outlook e-mail will launch it using its native program. X1 handles Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Netscape.
