X1 searches email (including off-line Outlook PST and Notes NSF files), attachments, and files (over 225 different types, including Adobe Acrobat) on a local or networked hard drives. With support for popular e-mail clients, including Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes, Thunderbird, Mozilla, Netscape and Eudora, X1 is the most robust desktop search tool available today. X1 also searches more than 225 different types of files as fast as you can type. Unlike most other desktop search solutions, with each new keystroke, results are displayed and updated immediately and search terms are highlighted in a real-time preview of documents themselves. Finally, after finding the document you need, you can choose from dozens of actions to take (Reply, Forward, Open, Print, Delete, Export) on that document.
Version 5.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: X1 Desktop Search 5.2
Pros: I have tried or purchased every indexing program out there with prices up to $500+ and nothing even comes close to the power of X1. Don't waste your time or resources on anything else, this is the one.
Cons: Because of this programs effectiveness I think we will see this particular software heading toward the commercial side of this business while the consumer side will be left using ineffective "FREE" indexers.

Version: X1 Desktop Search 5.2
Pros: This X1 is lightening fast to bring up search results on one side and on the other side you can view files in XL, Word or other formats,Photos in different formats, emails, email attachments. And yes, you can even find and listen to the songs and find and watch the video almost simultaneously too.
Cons: I have the incredimail installed on my computer and this X1 does not seem to be able to find mails from there; it only looks for outlook express mailbox.
