The WordPerfect Import XTension is an extension module for the QuarkXPress page layout software program, enabling you to import WordPerfect documents directly into a QuarkXPress document without necessitating any additional conversion software. It also possible to include style tags in the WordPerfect document, which will be automatically converted into equivalent QuarkXPress layout commands. QuarkXPress is in the first place an interactive page layout program, whereas WordPerfect is primarily a word processing program. Although current word processing programs, and certainly WordPerfect, include more and more features (e.g. drawings), a page layout program such as QuarkXPress is still the best solution for the final layout of a publication.
