Downloading files, installing and uninstalling software, and other daily activities create messes that take up space and impact performance. Wise Disk Cleaner is a housekeeper of sorts, making sure that things are tidy and functioning at their best.
Wise Disk Cleaner has an attractive, well-organized interface that arranges its features in four tabs. The Common Cleaner is a quick scan that gets rid of the most obvious junk, while the Advanced Cleaner digs a little more deeply to find more space-wasters. The Slimming System feature gets rid of unneeded Windows files, such as music samples and Windows update uninstallation files. There's also a Disk Defrag feature, which, although not unique, is nice to have packaged with other cleanup tools. We liked that Wise Disk Cleaner includes a scheduler, making it easy to keep up with regular maintenance. The program's online Help file offers good instructions and a fair amount of detail about each feature. Overall, we were quite impressed with the number of junk files that Wise Disk Cleaner was able to locate and get rid of, and we think it's a great way to keep your computer performing well and free of space-wasting clutter. The fact that it's completely free and doesn't require a paid upgrade for better features is a plus, too.

Wise Disk Cleaner is a free disk utility designed to help you keep your disk clean by deleting unnecessary files. Usually, these unnecessary or junk files appear as the results of program incomplete uninstallers, temporary Internet Files, etc. It is best if these files are wiped out from time to time, since they may, at some point, use a considerable amount of space on your drives. Wise Disk Cleaner, with its intuitive and easy to use interface, helps you quickly wipe out all the junk files. There are two ways in which you can do that. If you are a beginner, you may use the wizard and use the program's default settings in order to clean-up your system. In you are an advanced user, you can customize the operations: you can manually select folders to be cleaned-up, you can erase files with certain extensions, exclude folders from the scan, etc. When deleting file, you can choose to erase them forever, or, in case you are not sure about them, you can delete them to Recycle Bin. Using the program is indeed easy. It also works fast when both scanning for files and deleting files

"Cleans Junk Files Others Miss !"
Version: Wise Disk Cleaner 7.82.551
Pros
Attractive and easy to use GUI; 2 levels of cleaning (but be careful with the advanced cleaner); common cleaner very effective at cleaning junk files. Installation, as with all the Wise products I've tried, is straight forward and does not try to install a lot of extra crap along with the program. Also, while there is the occasional ad for a paid product, Wise does not aggressively nag you the way some other companies do. (which is why I stopped using Iobit's Advanced System Care)
Cons
Defragger is nothing special, but nice to have anyway; advanced (deep) cleaner may remove files you want to keep, so don't use it on autopilot. System slimmer is fairly unique in this type of program, but is only useful to a few users.
Summary
I don't expect any free utility program to be perfect, which is why I use several. Normally I cross-clean with CCleaner and SlimCleaner, and inevitably Wise Cleaner will find remnants the other 2 missed. It's excellent for when I want a deeper clean, and I highly recommend it- it's safe and easy to use, making it suitable for novice users, and advanced users will appreciate it's effectiveness (not to mention it's lack of heavy marketing). Even if you already have a preferred disk cleaning program, Wise makes for a good back-up at the very least, and is worth checking out.
