Wise Disk Cleaner is a free disk utility designed to help you keep your disk clean by deleting any unnecessary files. Usually, these unnecessary, or junk files appear as a result of program's incomplete uninstalls, or Temporary Internet Files. It is best if these files are wiped out from time to time, since they may, at some point, use a considerable amount of space on your drives. Wise Disk Cleaner, with its intuitive and easy to use interface, helps you quickly wipe out all the junk files. Using the program is indeed easy. It also works fast when both scanning for files and deleting files.

Version 4.52 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Even though we could have done without the nag screen, this free disk cleaning utility performed very well during our tests. Even beginners will appreciate how easy it is to use.

When you first install Wise Disk Cleaner 3 Free, you're taken to the publisher's Web site for more information about the program. Each time we accessed Wise Disk Cleaner 3 Free, we received a nag screen asking if we wanted to upgrade to the paid professional version. It was easily bypassed, but became something of a nuisance. A helpful wizard appeared at start-up, and walked us through the disk cleaning process. First, you choose from a long list of file extensions to include in the cleanup. The next step is to select the drives or folders you want to clean, and choose from a list of cleaning options, such as deleting cookies and temporary files. The last step is to choose to run the program in either auto-run or manual mode, and whether you want the files permanently deleted or sent to your recycle bin. Once we went through the wizard, we were sent to the main user interface to click the Scan button. Considering the task at hand, the program worked extremely fast to pull up all of the junk files according to our specifications. It took a little time for the program to delete and send the files to the Recycle Bin, but we were able to continue working during the process.

Our test computer's performance noticeably improved after running the program. Users of all levels will find Wise Disk Cleaner 3 Free easy to use and effective, and the nag screen was a small price to pay for this freeware utility.

  Pros: When u surf the internet, u get temp files , or when u open documents , recent files will capture it , it cleans all like a miracle , speeds up computer. and FREE !

  "Great! Frees up loads of space!"

  Pros: It got rid of over 400 Mb of rubbish on the first run! Subsequent runs keep everything rubbish-free. Simple to understand, too.

  Cons: None so far, been using it for weeks.

  Summary: By far the best disk cleaner I've ever used.

  "Simple to use and not too "Agressive"."

  Pros: Easy to download,Recommended settings are perfect for the novice.Choice of skins.

  Cons: There is nothing I can criticise about this Disc Cleaner.

  Summary: I use "Wise disc cleaner" in conjunction with "Wise registry cleaner"to clean up any leftover debris after adding or deleting programmes.so far I have had No problems.
