This scanner provides tools to swiftly free hard-disk space, but it lacks explanation of its features for novice users. Fortunately, Wise Disk Cleaner 3 Pro has a simple interface and is very easy to use.
The program works effectively and efficiently to remove temporary files without using much of the computer's resources. Users can set the program to perform a disk clean automatically, but there is no way to control when the automatic clean takes place. Fortunately, the program lets the user delete all files to the Recycle Bin, which may save headaches later on over a missing file. However, there is little explanation as to what the files are and why they may be deleted. For that reason alone, we feel this program is perfectly suited for someone with at least an intermediate knowledge of file extensions or disk cleaning utilities.
Wise Disk Cleaner 3 Pro is freeware, so more experienced users might find this fits their toolbox on a budget.

There are files of all kinds, such as temporary files that applications should delete when they're no longer needed, and various log files, index files, backup files, etc. You'd be amazed at how much space these junk files consume. Many advanced options are provided in the Professional Edition. You can use these options to find even more junk files and old files. You can then choose to move these files to a designated folder from which you can easily restore them, should they be needed one day.
Version 4.31 adds cancel function in the scrubber, updates result table, adds Office 2007 skin, and updates some language packs.

Version: Wise Disk Cleaner Pro 4.31
Pros: Fast and provides ability to move to recycle bin to catch those few miscoded temp files.
Cons: Be sure to watch some vendors - MS and HP leave temprary files and directories on disk that they really need later. The files should not be tmp, but you have to set them up as exceptions.
Summary: Saves lots of disk space by deleting unnecessary junk. Like it and would buy again.
