This spying utility tells you how your PC is used in your absence, but Wintective Keylogger and Screen Capture doesn't really stand out from the crowd. In our testing, after installing, nothing happened. We had to find the program file on the disk and start it manually. Besides recording screenshots, the program also logs keystrokes and sites visited. It can send logs to your e-mail account. When working in Stealth mode, it doesn't slow down the PC. Access to settings and logs is protected with a password. However, the utility is not well-protected overall, since anyone can stop it using Task Manager and even uninstall it. The program might work on children, but if your spouse or employees really are up to something, you might need a better solution than Wintective Keylogger and Screen Capture.Publisher's description

It is stealthy, monitoring spyware, which allows you to secretly track all activities of computer users and automatically deliver logs to you via e-mail. It can monitor all areas of the system, including e-mail sent, Web sites visited, file operations, keystrokes, usernames and passwords, and online chat conversations (in programs such as ICQ, MSN, AIM, and Yahoo Messenger). It can run as a surveillance camera and capture screenshots or pictures of the applications open on your computer. Options include Invisible mode, logs management, logs delivery by e-mail, and desktop screen capturing.

"Beware of using trial version"
Cons: Nasty surprise... the trial version pops up a window occasionally in order to get you to buy an authorized copy... Not much of a trial since you really can't use it to monitor your computer without the risk of informing users that their actions are being monitored...

Cons: As it is recording the keystrokes, it takes a littlke bit longer to type the words on the screen, if you are a fast typer, it might take a while for the words to make it on the screen.... very slow until i turn it off. Biggest reason: My girl got one of the pop-ups that it gives about you are being monitored, if you didnt install this program someone is spying on you and can see everything you type and see, like they are watching over your shoulder.....screw that, im pissed and so was she!!

Summary: Like Blue said, the demo has a pop up that tells anyone who reads it that someone is trying to spy on them!!. I dont find this a very effective way to advertise your product.
