This small problem was developed to get the same functionality of unix tail with additional token search. You can set background and foreground colors. You can also define some tokens with other colors. It is great when you want to watch a keyword like ERROR in a streaming text. Simply say wintail.exe -f -token ORA-=lightred -token error=lightred -token warning=lightyellow -token started=lightgreen alert_SID.log or wintail.exe -fg=red -bg=white -f -token ORA-=lightred alert_SID.log or wintail.exe -f -n 100 alert_SID.log. Version 0.4.3 may include It is faster and %100 .net compatible. It requires .net 2.0 framework.
