Version: Windows Live OneCare
Pros: It uses the old RAV antivirus, which was very good, the firewall is probably the easiest I have ever found, when you open any even slighly popular program it will tell you that Microsoft is aware of the program and has allowed access. You can also customize the firewall to ask about all inbound and outbound programs.
OneCare also has an automated backup to CDR or CDRW which you can schedule for anytime. Windows Defender is also a part of the program.
Of all the security suites I have tried, OneCare is far and away the easiest.
Cons: Microsoft users will have to pay for this suite, alot of people think it should be free. It can be purchased for $19.95 until june 1st I think. After that it goes up to forty dollars.

Version: Windows Live OneCare
Pros: So finally ms stepped up and started supporting us.
Cons: There are free ones that do a better job
get :
avast anti-virus
ad-aware/spybot
kerio or zone alarm firewalls
all for free and you basically have this entire package and they do a better job.
They want me to pay to fix what should be free.Microsoft makes it easy to attack us with spyware, malware and viruses and then want's us to pay for the protection. It should be free. What a monopolizing company.

Version: Windows Live OneCare
Pros: Live Onecare is first of all light on the PC & makes it work faster & easier...I am very surprised that it is rated & reviewed so poorly & that it is not one of the more popular Antivirus Software...To me its just amazingly smooth and when it sees a trojan it goes to work right away to get rid of it which I must have on the PC before I got Onecare...
Norton though it did its job of protection while I had it....It was very heavy on the PC in that it took the PC 20 minutes just to load up & just made it slower.. When I uninstalled it, it was like unloading 100 extra pounds off the pc's shoulders. Now it runs smooth & fast & it has the tools of Live Onecare to manage & maintain it... Very Cool Live Onecare...I Am Impressed....

Version: Windows Live OneCare
Pros: a friend of mine recently got infected with zlob, despite having norton and spy sweeper installed.the two programs didnt detect it.instead of following my advice to download a special tool to remove zlob he downloaded this instead, and to my suprise it removed zlob in no time at all.i have to say i was very impressed.
Cons: i havent got this myself as i have dial up and its not too effective with dial up.which is a shame as i would get it if it did.
