Version: Windows Live Mail Backup 2.5a
"Excellent, does the job very well."
Pros: I had to get the latest version (2.5c) from another site, but it worked very well from the preliminary test I just did backing up/restoring Windows Live Mail's Message Store (default and non-default locations) and Registry Items. Even my signatures were restored correctly (something I could not do with a normal export/import of that registry item).
Cons: This may be pedantic, but the backup options/description give the impression that the accounts are recorded in the registry, but they are actually held in the Message Store. The Message Store is called the 'Database' in the options, whereas, the database is but a small part of the Message Store, which is fully backed up/restored.
