Windows 7 Manager is a powerful software tool to tweak, optimize, maintain and tune up your Windows 7, it bundles more than 30 different utilities in one. It will help your system to be stable, fast, secure and personal. For example, get detailed system and hardware information; Tweak your system to improve windows startup and shutdown speed; tweak your hardware to increase system performance; Find and clean junk files; searches your computer for duplicated files; easily checks registry and repairs incorrectly linked registry entries; Defrag Registry to reduce application response time.
What's new in this version:
Version 1.1.4 adds Visual Customizer and Compatibility Manager.
I've seen complaints about hard to find functions. Tthis is a full utility suite. You can do just about anything to your system that you could ever want as far speeding it up or repairing is concerned. Naturally, not everything will be on the surface.
The only downside I can see in this release is that, where before it would simply log in and out to apply certain settins, now it has to restart Windows completely. But that because of the way Window 7 is setup, not a fault of Windows 7 Manager.
To date I've never had Yamisoft's software cause any problems after fixing the registry.
Perhaps some users don't have enough experience dealing with troubleshooting their systems. Many times your hardware setup will cause problems for which you end up blaming MS Windows. Certainly you shouldn't blame this software if you encounter problems after using it. This software will help you to optimize your system based on your actual hardware setup. If you don't know what a function does, DON'T USE IT!
I use it mostly to do my initial customization when I install a new OS (in this case, Windows 7 x64). From then on I use it mainly for cleaning bad uninstalls.
I have had plenty of experience with similar programs. Tuneup Utilities doesn't do as good a job of explaining functions and it assumes certain things are always true regardless of how you use your computer. System Mechanic is not for a power user like me. Basic registry cleaning software (even the marvelous program CCleaner) VERY frequently make mistakes and leave much debris behind.
I'll stick to Yamicsoft till the day Windows dies.
