WinZip System Utilities Suite offers a one-stop shop for optimizing, defragging, and generally cleaning out your system--and it does a pretty great job, adding extras that will come in handy whenever you need to perform routine maintenance. The interface smartly mimics many of the utilities in this genre--with various tools on the left, and the main window showing the options for each tool--making it easy to clean each area of your system quickly.

Like many modern system utilities, WinZip offers the option to be as involved with the process as you want to be. From the Home screen, you can simply hit the Start Smart PC Care button to go through a checklist of common cleaning activities, in which the program will list errors as it scans your drive. But you can also approach each problem one at a time, by navigating the functions on the left side of the interface and running individual scans of each type. However, with a little digging through the menus on the left, you'll find much more than what's included in the basic scan, such as uninstaller tools, memory optimizers, a start-up process manager, and several other system optimizers.

In our tests, WinZip System Utilities ran through the optimization process fairly quickly, but we were required to restart to correct various issues with the Registry. After the process finished and restarted our machine, WinZip popped right back up to show that all the processes were finished and we noticed a little bit of improvement in overall performance.

If you're looking to get all your major system cleaning out of the way without the need to run several different programs, WinZip System Utilities is a great option. With added extras mentioned above, along with the ability to create drive backups, remove browser histories, consult a system and security adviser, and more, you can't really go wrong using this app as your one-stop shop for system optimization.
