Version: WinUtilities 5.27
"Can I give other members a tip?"
Pros: This is a nice application. It has a nice, user friendly GUI and isn't a bad utility. But I'd like to point out another, almost identical, free alternative. It's called "Glary Utilities". I have no association with either company so I'm not knocking "XP Tools Software" or pumping up "Glaryutilities". I just wanted other users to know that there is an alternative. If you install both applications, open them side by side and have a look you will see what I mean. The tools found in both are identical. The only difference is, "Glary Utilities" picked up all my auto start items while this application missed about half. And, as another user pointed out, this software sells for the same price as "Tuneup Utilities 2007" which gives you much more for the money.

"Pretty good app for XP and vista"
Pros: WinUtilities is the best thing out there! I used some registry cleaners for years and they never really cleaned up the real problems. I used WinUtilities for the first time last night and I was amazed at the results! My computer is faster now! And, I had an error message on my computer at start up for a year! I couldn't get rid of it! Guess what? It's gone now!!! Great product! Worth the price.

"This app is pretty smart with vista"
Pros: This app is pretty smart with a "Vista" system. First I ran a full registry scan with "Tuneup Utilities 2007" and cleaned a few keys. Then I ran a full scan with WinUtilities" which detected 347 errors. Curious, I clicked clean. "WinUtilities" , during the cleaning process, alerted me that 168 of the keys detected were needed by the "Windows Vista" operating system. Then it prompted me to add these keys to the ignore list and I did. The cleaning deleted the other 79 items. What impressed me the most is that it auto detected which registry keys that weren't safe to delete. This made my job easy and not having to take the time like I always had to do with "XP" to read each key was very impressive to me. This app is pretty smart and I'm impressed! If you're running "Windows Vista" I can and do recommend this app, at least for a try.
Cons: The free trial is 30 days limited. But, I'd recommend having a look at this app anyway.

"Good tool for removing annoying temp files clean-up misses"
Pros: Found & removed over 3,000 zero-length files, temp files, & broken shortcuts that other disk cleaners missed. Allows user to deselect individual files flagged for removal before cleaning
Cons: 5 stars! not at all.

Version: WinUtilities 5.27
Pros: I've run a number of utilities with registry cleaners..all are good. I've found that this program does in fact find a few more errors than the rest. It seems to be quite stable and I've had no problems at all. Overall, it's very effective in my eyes. I'm running XP sp2 with 1024 ram and all is great. In fact, things have been running more consistently with less errors since using WinUtilities. Here's to a great utility!
