This application keeps your online and offline activities secure by instantly deleting traces, but it failed to clean some areas. WinUtilities History Cleaner has a well-designed interface with easy, clear-cut operations. Upon launching, the program lists the Windows, online traces, and plug-ins that are available for cleaning. A simple tick of the checkbox beside a specific area includes it in the cleanup process. WinUtilities History Cleaner rapidly wiped away our Internet Explorer cache, cookies, and history--without a system reboot. The program also works with AOL, MSN Explorer, Opera, and Netscape. Sorry to say, WinUtilities History Cleaner failed to clean the recent file history lists of several of the Microsoft Office applications it listed. Though it performed well in most respects, the nonworking features will turn away some potential users looking for an effective cleaning tool.
