Though this utility lets you create archives as ZIP, CAB, JAR, LZH, TAR, and GZIP files, its trump card is the ACE format, which supports optimized compression of multimedia files, self-unpacking archives, multiple volumes, encryption, and other advanced features. WinAce features a visually uninspiring interface, and we found selecting files from several folders inconvenient. To make up for this, WinAce lets you archive files directly in Windows Explorer via a simple right click. The trial version disables many of the program's advanced compression features, which makes it tough to fully evaluate. From what we've seen, however, it appears that WinAce has what it takes to hang with some of the better-known compression applications, making it a good pick for advanced users who need to archive files in the ACE format.

It includes built-in compression for ACE, ZIP, LHA, and MS CAB formats, and built-in decompression for ACE, ZIP, LHA, MS CAB, RAR, ARJ, ARC, GZIP, TAR, and ZOO formats. You can create multivolume (disk-spanning) archives for ACE and MS CAB formats and self-extracting archives (SFX) for ACE and ZIP formats.
Version 2.2 adds support for Windows Terminal Servers, adds compatibility with Windows XP themes, and fixes compatibility issues with RAR 3.0 archives.

I did not find any.
Cons
I had an .ace file I wanted to open and tried this. It tried to fake its way.
Summary
It said it extracted but the files it claimed to make were nowhere to be found. Before I closed it I looked in my start menu all programs and only the install .exe would show. I just finished a system reset. Luckily the reset point was only 5 days old!

Winace is an efficient and fast unzipping utility. It doesnt eat up a lot of system resources and it unzips programs quickly and efficiently.
Cons
The welcome screen for the trial software was confused and jumbled, it has too much information loaded on to it, making it ugly and confusing. It's too complex and needs to be simplified. The program also failed to uninstall correctly and I encountered errors uninstalling it. The product seems to value efficiency and conserving resources over a cute graphical interface, which I like to see, but something must be done to improve the graphics and the interface slightly. The interface looks too ugly . The icons associated with zip files and the buttons within the program look amateur and unprofessional. It is a good unzipper if you dont value well defined graphics, but id like to see them simplify it just a little more and upgrade the graphical quality of the icons associated with the software.

Unless you pay for it, it takes control of your computer and randomly opens website pages. I tried to uninstall it via the control panel and it would not uninstall. So I deleted the entire folder from the program files....no good.. its still websites pop-up, one website it pop-up attempted to immediately do something malicous to my computer but my Nortons Anti-virus stopped it. But Neither Nortons nor Ad-Aware will remove the virus/adware that it installs.

I've tried for ages to uninstall this program to no avail- just like the previous guy.
