converts .ogm and .mkv formats..and its the fastest converter I've ever used
Cons
it gives you an option to add embedded subtitles. but it couldn't find the subtitles in various video files that I have...

Keep getting errors because during install, it sayed that it could not detect QuickTime 6.5 or higher. I have QuickTime 7.x installed.

Pros
This program is a very fast converter that takes about 35 to 45 minutes to convert to DVD. Not the best quality output but i can live with it.
Cons
None really just that you have to chose speed over quality with this program.

I have 6 AVI files on my desktop which I play through VideoLan.I tried to convert the 6 files with WinAVI and I got the same error, "Cant decode this file,maybe the file is broken or system not install the decoder" Bit of a waste of time if you ask me, Another for the uninstall!

The nag screen measures only 2.5in wide and 1.0 high on a 17" monitor.
don't like nag screen? buy it.

**could not convert my i-pod mpeg4 file,cept saying "can not initialize make sure media can play in window media player".I seems when thay say it works on mpeg they mean mpeg1,2,3.

This was easy to use to convert between several different formats. Seemed fine as long as you were keeping the format for PC use....

when going to a DVD format, I could not seem to do it without a noticible loss of quality...

This is a very fast and easy program to use. From my experience, this is the fastest video converter out. I beleive the program is on at least verion 7 by now? If you are going to try this program, check the publisher's website. The full program is a great program.
Cons
This is not a free program, but it might be worth the money if you work with lot of video and need to convert. As far as the trial version goes, the nag screen is "nagging."
