As simple and fast as an electric can opener, WinASO Registry Optimizer offers a hassle-free system tuneup. It finds errors related to your Registry, custom controls, shortcuts, drivers, fonts, shared programs, and configuration files. We were pleased to find you can sort its search results--a useful feature when dealing with long lists. Before deleting found entries, the program suggests backing them up in case something goes wrong.
It also provides a simple tool for cleaning traces left by various applications, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and ICQ. WinASO doesn't slow system performance when scanning in the background, though the trial version will correct only 10 faulty files. You'll have to buy it to get any real benefit, but PC novices and time-pressed experts will find WinASO Registry Optimizer a good addition to their PC-maintenance regimens.

"My registry cleaner of choice for almost 10 years!!"
Pros: This has kept my computer running well since I first started to use it. And it gets better with each new version.
Cons: Occasionally deletes a key which will cause a program to stop working. But it's easily fixed with the restore option. So nothing is ever deleted that can't be restored.
Summary: A must have!! And I'm quite particular about what I use on my computer.

Pros: Have been waiting for quite some time..4.51 works great with Windows 7! I can feel that it runs even more smoothly than the previous one.
Cons: No cons have been found.

"Worked fin on my PCs with XP BUT..."
Pros: Hundreds of errors found and fixed but...
Cons: Having a problem with my laptop with Vista Ultimate that I think may be caused by this Registry Optimizer
