Version: WinASO Registry Optimizer 3.0.9
Pros: A hell of a lot better then "Registry Mechanic". This is a good app for sure. Does a good job of making a computer faster. It also comes with some nice extras like, a privacy eraser although It's hard to believe it's only good with "Internet Explorer". Does a good job at speeding up an "XP System", is another nice extra. Has a registry defrag which is something that needs to be done occasionally. It's not over aggressive and is worth the money to own. The rescue center mostly works but like I've said before, "no reg cleaner knows about all apps". Recommended only behind "Tuneup Utilities 2007" and over all the other registry cleaners I know of for sure. It has "Vista" compatibility" although I haven't used it on my "Vista" machine yet.
Cons: No registry that I know of is perfect. This one is good but wipes out a few keys needed by "Autocad". I didn't know this at first and had to repair the registry afterwords. Luckily for me "Autocad" comes with a registry repair option in add / remove programs. Use any registry with some caution.

"Man, I hate registry cleaners."
Pros: I've used several and I found that no registry cleaner is 100% safe to use. This one included. It has a nice GUI. It's easy to use and if you are one who trusts registry cleaners you might as well use this one because it has extra utilities built into it. At least It works with "Vista".
Cons: Like i said, I hate registry cleaners but a once in a while cleaning is something thats unfortunately needed. I've found that no registry cleaner knows enough about all applications that you have installed to be totally safe to use and I've also found that a cleaning is not needed as often as most people think. No matter which one you decide on, take the time to look at each key set for deletion. If you have any doubts, Google search it or set it to be ignored until you have ir figured out. Personally, I use "reg Edit" or "Tuneup Utilities 2007" only and

Pros: WinASO Registry Optimizer is the best thing out there! I used some registry cleaners for years and they never really cleaned up the real problems. I used WinASO Registry Optimizer for the first time last night and I was amazed at the results! My computer is faster now! And, I had an error message on my computer at start up for a year! I couldn't get rid of it! Guess what? It's gone now!!! Great product! Worth the price.

Pros: After Being a long time Registry Mechanic User, My Startup is slowing down. On my friend's recommendation, I decide to give WinASO a Try, and it discovers hundreds of erorrs Registry Mechanic Missed. Now my computer works very well, so I think it is better than Registry Mechanic
