A slick interface, simple installation, and tons of customization features make WebcamMax an excellent option for using your Webcam with multiple programs simultaneously.
Compatible with 16 programs, including CamFrog, PalTalk, all the major chatware apps like AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, and MSN, and others, WebcamMax is hassle-free. When installing the program, there are no pesky toolbars to opt-out of, and in fact the program lets you set it as the primary Webcam source for its list of compatible programs during setup. The interface is intuitive and pleasant to use, as well as being well-polished and professional. No worries here about paying for a program that doesn't look the part. We experienced no drags on system resources, but older machines could have problems.
There are freeware programs that offer a very similar experience to WebcamMax, but this app definitely has the larger built-in image library and the smoothest experience.

You can do snapshots as well as record videos with effects and broadcast them on YouTube or your Blog. You can also do slideshows, share your screen with friends, play movies for them or trick them with a fake video. It enables PinP of which Webcam, Screen, Movie or Picture can be selected as source. It enables Doodling as well and you can paint on the video box directly. Version 5.3.5.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: WebcamMax 5.3.5.2
"Network Killer and process stealer"
Pros: The only thing to like about this product is it potential. I see no real value in it.
Cons: As a professional technician I had seen this program on many machines to be the main reason for lost performance and network traffic loss. I had to remove the program to get Windows to run properly and to get the network connection back.
Summary: Forget about using this product. You will be wasting time and effort. Eventually you will lose computer speed from the start and may even lose network connection.

Pros: Works with all IM's. Can show up to 4 different cameras at one time. Great effects downloadable or make your own. Can work through other webcam applications such as ManyCam or visa vera.
Cons: Sound can only come from once source at a time butthen who wants to hear a clatter.
Summary: I love this app. Not only can I stream web cams but also stream live captures my desktop and from my TV capture card.
There are other webcam applications around and some are free but none have the flexibility if WebCam Max.

Pros: The only pro that i could discren fromthis program is that you can have multiple sources..ie multiple webcams.
Cons: This program is an absolute resource hog. I have a new build with 4g of ram and a quad prcessor and it drags the system to a crawl. Also, when left up using the interface, it randomly stops broadcasting. Dont waste your money....

"Slow, unstable, not worth it."
Pros: Lets you do a few cool tricks with the camera when you are leaving a video message or videochatting.
Cons: Slows the computer down to a crawl. You can't use the camera in any application without it opening automatically and slowing everything down. The special effects are very poor compared to others I've seen.
Summary: If you are desperate for cool camera effects, you might wanna try this but otherwise, steer clear.
