Publisher's description
From Colin Markwell :WebMon is a Web page update monitoring program. It saves you time and keeps you updated by automatically checking an unlimited number of Web pages at predetermined intervals to see if they have changed. Updates are highlighted with configurable pop-up alerts and sounds. Checks can be made on the whole page or a particular section. It also supports importing of Internet Explorer favorites and Netscape bookmarks.
Version 1.0.1 includes: an alert sound when an error occurs while checking a page, the option to auto-save the list of web pages every 10 minutes, and the option to not reset 'new' status when opening a page in browser.

Version: WebMon 1.0.1
"Simple and best way to monitor web changes."
Pros: Simple, right-to-the-point program. I have been using it for over 4 years and love it.
Cons: None.
-
Version: WebMon 1.0.1
Pros: It says that pages are updated when they arent because you didnt specify the content to check exactly. Lots of webpages uses sessions to identify the visitor, and every time you access the page it is changed and displayed in the page's source (php genereated html source). This is why it says the page is updated.
If you correctly configure it works nicely, but it cant check password protected pages - unless you use IE.
Cons: Sometimes you need to use your HTML knowledge - if you have.

Version: WebMon 1.0.1
"Crashes but otherwise not bad"
Pros: Allows the ability to check on a per minute basis. Fairly intuitive to use.
Cons: This program has crashed quite regularly. Usually when I leave my computer alone for awhile I come back with it using 100% of my resources and freezing. I would also like it if there was a built in change tracker (so I know what changed) and possibly an email message that can be sent to let me know something has changed.

Version: WebMon 1.0.1
"Works, but gives address violations"
Pros: Seems to work, and it's free.
Cons: Whenever I try to open it or try to change the preferences, I get a message about an address violation. It does appear to be working, but I can't change the preferences. Maybe I should re-install it. Also, e-mail notifications would be very nice, but what do you want for free.

Version: WebMon 1.0.1
Pros: It's a good concept.
Cons: Says pages are updated when they are not. This completely voids the whole point of having this.
