Publisher's Description
From Tonbrand Software:
Web Site Maestro speeds up your site by optimizing both HTML and script code of your web pages and optimizing your JPEG and PNG images. It helps you keep organized by creating a duplicate site folder for the optimized files. An added benefit is that it leaves your original files untouched. You should use your original web folder for editing and use the duplicate web folder for uploading.
Web Site Maestro features Smart Handling, supports XML and can handle web pages with any text encoding. Moreover, it can check your web pages for dangling tags, missing attributes and broken links. An integrated FTP/WebDAV Client enables one-click optimizing and uploading, also in secure mode. You can synchronize your entire web site with your local web folder or synchronize a single remote folder. Web Site Maestro offers many options to customize its operation to your special needs. Drag and drop is supported.
What's new in this version:
- When applying the "Restore Local Web Folder" command from the Transfer menu, parent folder names are now also displayed while downloading files.
- Fixed a bug that could stall the upload process when a file to be uploaded contains 0 bytes.

"Complete waste of time and money"
Version: Web Site Maestro 6.44
Cons
If you want to waste hours and hours of your time, and throw away 40 dollars, get Web Site Maestro. I have never used such a bad program. After almost two weeks of frustration trying to get it to work, I asked the author Ton Brand to refund my money. He refused and said "Let's both of us accept our losses and forget the whole thing. OK?" even though he guarentees his program and a full refund.
This program claims to compress your iWeb files and then upload to a server. It does neither! Forget about compressing anything except compressing forty dollars into zero! It never uploaded the site either! Although iWeb, Fetch, and Cyberduck worked every single time with no errors. The author of the program blamed me when his program compressed 20 files on my desktop instead of the files in my iWeb folder. He told me the problem was mine. Here's what he said "When I look at your desktop on the screenshot I see a big mess (sorry)."
I have been using a Mac since 1985. I have written successful programs for the Mac. Web Site Maestro is the biggest rip off I have ever encountered. Take my word for it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS USELESS PRODUCT!

Really easy to use with a great start up wizard. Configured in minutes and immediately worked as expected. User interface is well designed; its a pleasure to use a software product like this one which has an intuitive user interface. Product did exactly what I wanted it to do. A great product as far as I am concerned.
Cons
