From WeatherBug :

WeatherBug is a program that provides users with real-time access to their zip codes' nearest stations supported by the AWS WeatherNet network. Once installed, you get live local weather conditions, radar, a five-day forecast, continuously updated local forecasts, immediate storm warnings and alerts, up-to-the-minute InstaCam images, local radar pictures, and weather and news links. The program displays the current temperature live in the system tray, turning your taskbar into a WeatherBar.

Previous updates added improved travel weather, an image of the day, a Wild Weather feature that allows you to view weather extremes across the country, and a glossary of weather terms. Version 2.7 features six-minute doppler radar, pollen forecasts by zip code, UV Index forecasting, beach and boating conditions, and hurricane warnings.
