From NCH Software :WavePad is a sound editor program for Mac OS X. This software lets you make and edit voice and other audio recordings. You can cut, copy and paste parts of recording and, if required, add effects like echo, amplification and noise reduction. Features: Sound editing functions include cut, copy, paste, delete, insert, silence, autotrim and more. Audio effects include, amplify, normalize, equaliser, envelope, reverb, echo, reverse, sample rate conversion. Special effects include reduce vocals, distortion, chorus and more. Batch processing allows you to apply effects and/or convert your files as a single function. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Version: Wavepad Audio Editor for Mac 3.05
Pros: What I like? I'd "Like" to have my wasted time back.
Cons: Leopard User - Easy to use "Was" what I was looking for. Spent 1.5 hours recording a 20 minute clip and editing it. The I tried to save it to my desktop OR documents folder and it said "Saved" but no file EVER was there. THE PROGRAM DOES NOT SAVE FILES. Do not waste your time. I have not been this upset since VIsta made me change to a MAC!
