From NCH Software :WavePad is a sound editor program for Mac OS X. This software lets you make and edit voice and other audio recordings. You can cut, copy and paste parts of recording and, if required, add effects like echo, amplification and noise reduction. Features: Sound editing functions include cut, copy, paste, delete, insert, silence, autotrim and more. Audio effects include, amplify, normalize, equaliser, envelope, reverb, echo, reverse, sample rate conversion. Special effects include reduce vocals, distortion, chorus and more. Batch processing allows you to apply effects and/or convert your files as a single function.
Version 3.20 adds FFT/TFFT analysis.

Version: WavePad 3.20
"Hmm... Well, Um... It's free... And I'm going gay... ~(-';"
Pros: It installs easily and it smells sooo good... Oh, it has a nice logo. The wave line makes a W that I assume stands for Wave not Why did U download this program...
Cons: I use Mac X 10.5.1 - Well, be nice 2 have drag'n drop ability, pre-programed fast keys, not sure what the magnifier glasses are about, oh yeah - it crashes 65% of the time, then there's a request to tell the programmer exactly what i was doing prior to the crash (wouldn't they like 2 know) - then the crashed program does not go away until i go to Force Quit. I like that it plays MP3's, and I have been able to dikAround with making Keith Richards studder (more) until it crashes. BUTT what do u expect from a FREE program people. I downloaded it to record conversations from my homicidal girlfriend to use in court. (Girlfriends - I'm going gay!)
