You know how when you play two guitar strings that are almost the same pitch you hear beats? This is because the two sound waves combine and create a new one. This program simulates just that. You can create two waveforms by adjusting the amplitude and frequency and see what the combined result is.

What's new in this version:

  • Can save and open waveform files
  • Quit button added
  • Can enter frequency and amplitude values in text fields
  • Can control weather the combination wave is automatically updated or not, thus the program runs faster
  • Interface slightly different
