This privacy utility offers just about every feature we like to see in this type of application. The cleverly designed interface, which mimics a box of laundry detergent, is a big point in this program's favor. Similar to virtually all applications in this class, Wash N' Go cleans out your browser's temporary files, cache, cookies, and typed URLs. It's great the program now supports many Web browsers beyond Internet Explorer, including Firefox, Opera, and NetCaptor. The application also can wipe traces from common Windows system areas, including the Clipboard and the Run menu. It includes a file shredder, giving you multiple ways to securely delete files. The list of supported third-party applications seems quite comprehensive and includes support for popular IM clients and design programs. The ability to schedule cleaning sessions and to run the program in stealth mode are big pluses, though some users might find the 11-day trial period rather short. Average Web surfers looking to hide their traces likely will find this program offers just about everything they need.Publisher's description

Version: Wash N' Go 2.3.3.1
Pros: Having used earlier versions of Wash n Go, while cleaning my son's computer I downloaded this new version without reading reviews or having any concerns. Imagine my surprise when, after a so far successful execution of the program and cleaning of my son's PC, I read the other user reviews. I actually went home at lunch and uninstalled the program, expecting unintstall problems, corrupt programs or files...the worst of everything. I am a network engineer and by way of that, I've had to learn more about PC's than I really care to know. But I can tell you that, after my own personal PC cleaning procedure, this new Wash n Go found over 1 GB of additional trash. When I became apprehensive and decided to uninstall it (while I had a recent restore point should many things be corrupted), uninstalling was a simple, 20 second problem free task. No problems since uninstalling, either. I will reinstall and purchase the appropriate license.

Version: Wash N' Go 2.3.3.1
Cons: I also had my computer damaged while uninstalling this program. Why this program is still on this site after this many problems is a mystery. Stay away.
