Version: WYSIWYG Web Builder 4.06a
"CANNOT load existing HTML pages ?"
Pros: Look nice, can do a few things.
Cons: But the main thing it CANNOT do is load an existing HTML page. All the pages I tried to load are all stuffed up and a nightmare to correct. :(

"Lacks Good Features, but a crack can make it free so who can complain?"
Pros: - Easily cracked for free usage (Pablo should fix that!)
Cons: - can't overlap objects (No DTHML)
- awkward with text
- background in imaging and HTML is really nescessary
I would say that this program is good beacuse you can get it free. I would never pay for this type of program because it fails to provide anything that good HTML building couldn't. You can build a similar website in Microsoft Word if you have extensive knowledge in it's program features.
It's failure to provide DHTML, makes it a WYSIWYG builder that is simply easy to use - not professional.

"Does what it should for Beginners and Average user"
Pros: Make web pages easy with drag drop. Excellent placement of elements and text. Shows well in all browsers. PhotoGallery feature works like a charm, creates thumbs and links to large images in a few mouse clicks. Worth the price.
Cons: If you need to import an HTML page from another source, beware. It can do strange things to your page. During 30 trial, program places small advertising icon on every page.

"Makes producing good websites incredibly easy"
Pros: 1) The range of templates that come with the product is great, and you can download more from the publisher's website.
2) The product comes with a whole host of useful tools and widgets that you can use on your site. You just drag and drop them into place.
3) You can include javascript if you want to - but you don't have to. The product also comes with a whole bunch of javascript widgets you can use without knowing anything about coding
Basically, this product rocks. If you're looking for a heavy-weight developer tool then don't look here. But if you're mostly interested in producing a good-looking full-featured site and don't want to spend days and weeks creating it, then this is the perfect product
Cons: There's not much I don't like about this product. I have built 3 websites and always get complimented on how good they look and how professional they feel.
Basically it works as advertised: I think most of the negative reviews here are from people who were expecting some kind of developer tool - download the free Microsoft Web Developer Express if you want that.

"May or may not be useful for you..."
Pros: This is a great product IF you only need a simple website. It really does make a website like the one you design. It's interface is extremely similar to Visual Basic Express and easy for anyone to navigate. This is truly the most user friendly product for those who need a basic website.
Cons: If you need to use php or any other special scripting for your website, move on. This product is completely incompatible with php and will throw parse errors constantly. The designer adds all sorts of extra html code in compilation that php doesn't accept. You could do as I am forced to do and write out all your php on notepad and your html pages on this product. There is no technical support at all on anything other than the extremely obvious; Take a look at this guys forums... The product is too pricey for the limited capabilities and if you intend to get his latest upgrade, you will be hit with even more of a fee. GREED. The product can be much better if the designer would actually test it with php and fix the problems, lower the cost, and not require registered users to log into another account just to ask a question that never gets answered anyhow.
